What do we do?
Unlike some other providers advertising RSA Best Restaurant Training is an accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO number 40777). We are accredited by Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) to issue the Victorian RSA certificate both via real time zoom courses and face to face classroom sessions.
We are accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority to issue the National Statement of Attainment SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol and attendees also receive this certificate upon course completion. This is useful for interstate work.
Frequently Asked Questions
A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a legal requirement for almost anybody working with alcohol in Victoria. This includes employees in bars, hotels, bottle shops, restaurants, nightclubs and other hospitality venues.
All licensees that have employees serving alcohol in Victoria will ask for this qualification. They need to provide evidence if required that their staff are RSA trained.
Yes, we are accredited by Liquor Control Victoria to deliver the Victorian RSA in a face-to-face format either in a regular classroom or via zoom. All accredited providers are listed on the VGCCC website to All accredited providers are listed on the Liquor Control Victoria website. Only providers accredited by Liquor Control Victoria are able to display the wordmark below on their websites.
We are also accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority to deliver the National Statement of Attainment useful for interstate work.
Be aware there are several providers advertising RSA courses that are not accredited and are issuing certificates that are not accredited and cannot be used as an RSA in Victorian licensed premises.

Our online zoom courses run for six hours. We allocate two hours at the end to do the assessment. Some students complete the assessment in less time
than the two hours.
Our face-to-face classroom courses run for four hours.
Our online RSA course via zoom is $59. The trainer will call and take card payment or give bank details to transfer to at the end of the course.
Our face-to-face classroom courses are $75 payable by card or cash when signing in at the start of the course.
Course details and zoom invite are emailed the day before the course. The course handbook and handouts the trainer will display on screen on the day are also emailed. There is no need to print these out but feel free to do so if you wish.
A reminder text message is also sent the day before the course with contact number if any questions.
Our online zoom course is a real time online course not self-paced. Everything is completed within the six hours allocated. The main difference is the trainer is on screen not in a classroom physically with the students.
The content and assessment is exactly the same for both the courses but the online course can take longer as a result of the format.
No. A phone is not suitable to do the course. Ideally a laptop or desktop is suitable but if not a tablet. The trainer must be able to see the student on camera at the end of the course completing the assessment that has been emailed.
A camera and microphone are a requirement for the course.
Face to face training takes place in the following areas.
St Kilda (Melbourne), Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Mornington, Traralgon,
Warrnambool and Shepparton.

We deliver anywhere in Victoria and just need to allocate four hours on a date and at a time that suits at both ends. We need a quiet room to deliver the course in and provide all other resources.
Cost is $790 for up to ten people or $79 per person if over 10.
It is a national training requirement. All attendees have to provide this. We cannot issue certificates without a USI number. This can easily be created at www.usi.gov.au if attendees do not have already and takes about 10 minutes. There is no charge for this.
